June 2026 Work Party
The work party for 13th June 2026 consisted of 8 volunteers with 56 hours of work being carried out in cool showery weather. Due to the efforts of the volunteers, all the planned work was carried out as follows:
- 100 metres of railway land drainage pipes on the west side of the Aucheorn Cutting were successfully accessed and rodded clear of blockages.
- The east side drainage ditches in the Aucheorn Cutting were cleared of blockages over the entire length of the cutting.
Additional Works:
- There was no additionall work carried out
Other points to note:
- Further ditching work required at the southern end of the cutting on the west side, where the drainage pipes no longer function due to previous removal or breakage.
